IELTS Exam stands for International English Languages Testing System. There are two different types of IELTS, which are General and Academic. Some students feel perplexed about the difference of these two types of IELTS Exam. It all depends on the purpose of your exam.

The Academic version of IELTS measures English language proficiency needed for an academic, higher learning environment. The tasks and texts are accessible to all test takers, irrespective of their of their subjects fous.

The General Training version of IELTS measures English language proficiency in a practical, everyday context. The tasks and texts reflect both workplace and social situations.

IELTS is available in two modules: Academic and General Training.

  • The IELTS Academic module is intended to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
  • The IELTS General Training module is intended for candidates who are going to English-speaking countries for immigration purposes to Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

At Svarna Training Institute our primary goal is to help each and every student to acquire essential skills to pass the test. We are focused on the practical training of delivering techniques and tactics, which will assist students in reaching their desired score.
The main question is why you should choose us for the IELTS Preparation Training? There are a few main reasons for that:

  • Interactive and intensive classes full of practice.
  • Individual and group classes (5-18 students) are available.
  • Apart from providing you a book and handouts, we also give extra materials to study at home.
  • Flexible timings (evening and weekend classes)
  • If you make no progress we will provide a few hours of free individual training.
  • Free mock tests to evaluate your improvement and build confidence.

Before enrolling to any of our class, every student will be given two pre-assessment tests, where we will check your English proficiency level in terms of grammar and vocabulary. Based on your results, a consultant will suggest you a required training with a tailored schedule.

Our interactive speaking classes are designed to break the language barrier and start generating new ideas on various topics. In the class all students work in pairs or in groups, where they discuss topics and share ideas. In speaking our priority is not grammar but mainly, help students to overcome fear of talking, break the habit of thinking in their native language and encourage to think broader by producing fresh ideas.

During reading classes students are being explained the format of the test and type of the questions they will meet during exam, followed by tips and tricks. The trainer will share with his/her own different techniques of reading passages and answer following questions. All students will be given a practice test to try, after which we can observe where is a student standing at and where should he/she focus on.

Writing, on the other hand, is where we are solely focused on students’ grammar and vocabulary. After a detailed explanation of different types of essay for general and academic IELTS, students will be given topics to write essays on and relevant vocabulary.

Listening is one of the toughest sections for all students. Our teaching approach is very flexible, where the trainer explains what techniques and tactics students should use to pass listening exam. Listening classes also include interactive activities, which are focused on the improvement of listening skills.
